No surprises. No upfront lump sums.
Rentcaar is weekly-priced both sides. Renters pay every 7 days for the duration of the rental. Hosts receive a weekly payout. We take a flat 5% commission on each weekly charge — that's it.

Worked example — list at $300/week, 4 weeks
- Renter pays weekly: $300
- You receive after commission: $285/week ($300 × 0.95)
- Across the term: $1,140
- Plus the bond if there's a no-show: +$600
What if a payment fails?
Stripe auto-retries failed weekly charges over a few days. After two terminal failures, the booking is cancelled — the host claims the bond (full or partial) through the admin team. Rentcaar handles the renter follow-up; hosts don't get involved in chasing.
This is what the 5% commission pays for: payment infrastructure, dunning, dispute resolution, and the support team.
